Erin N. Dazey earned her law degree from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia. After passing the bar in Virginia, she decided a second bar admission was needed and moved home to Ohio. Her prior practice areas include tax lien foreclosures and forcible entry and detainer actions, but her heart and calling has always been to work with families.

In 2017, Erin joined Melissa Graham-Hurd & Associates, LLC, and now practices domestic relations law, including divorce, dissolution, child custody, and visitation. She has brought skills forward from her prior practice such as negotiation, a detail-oriented nature, and the ability to keep the ultimate end goal in mind. Her previous client base honed her ability to use clear, every-day language to break down large chunks of law and apply it- a skill which transfers well to a hands-on domestic relations practice requiring clarity and direction.

While not perfect, Erin attempts to live her life under the old adage: treat people as you would want to be treated. In a family law practice, this includes straight-talk, compassionate truth, understanding, and communicating that there is hope at the end of tunnel.

Although her education and work experiences have varied in location, Erin’s true home and family are in Summit County. She is looking forward to building a network of resources and connections to do what she can for the people of her community.

In her spare time, Erin enjoys camping with her family and experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes.
