Erin N. Dazey practices law in the area of domestic relations including divorce, dissolution, child custody, and visitation.
Erin earned her degree from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia. After passing the bar in Virginia, she decided a second bar admission was needed and moved home to Ohio. At that time, the Sandhu Law Group in Cleveland, Ohio afforded her the opportunity to develop vital legal skills such as research and writing, motion practice, and court appearance. Her previous focus was in the area of tax lien foreclosures as well as forcible entry and detainer actions. This practice required sharp decision making and a thorough understanding of an intricate niche area of law, as well as negotiation. Her previous client base honed her ability to use clear, every-day language to break down chunks of law and apply it- a skill which transfers well to a hands-on domestic relations practice requiring clarity and direction.
While she enjoyed the detailed nature of her previous work, Erin has always had a heart to work with people directly. Upon joining Melissa Graham-Hurd & Associates, LLC in 2017, that opportunity was opened to her. Erin lives her life under the old adage: treat people as you would want to be treated. In a family law practice, this includes straight-talk and compassionate truth, even when it may be hard to hear.
Although her education and work experiences have varied in location, Erin’s true home and family are in Summit County. She is looking forward to building a network of resources and connections to do what she can for the people of her community.
