Deborah Steed graduated from ICM School of Business in 1979 with a Computer Programming diploma. Following school, Deborah lived in Virginia where she was the Supervisor of the Data Processing Center at a government contracting agency as well as starting her career in the legal field. After moving to Florida, Deborah was the Manager of a real estate appraiser’s office. Upon returning to Ohio, Deborah worked in the legal field for quite a few years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. Although Deborah had not worked in the legal field in 22 years before joining Melissa Graham-Hurd & Associates, she has worked extensively in family and civil law. Deborah also worked as a manager for a local company helping young ladies with developmental disabilities for several years and most recently worked as a crêpier, where she learned the art of making crêpes, and as a call center representative.
In addition to performing clerical duties and following office procedures, Deborah is the initial encounter potential clients have with the office. Deborah implements telephone interviews to retrieve and give pertinent information to potential clients, in order for streamlined meetings to take place. Deborah also maintains case files and keeps the clients up to date on court filings.
While not in the office, Deborah enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her grandson. Deborah also enjoys crocheting, crafting, baking, reading, and being outside especially camping or riding in her Jeep without the top or doors.
